Mike is the 4th generation in his family to take over at Richardson Insurance. Born and raised in Hanover, the South Shore is home to Mike and his family. Ask anyone who knew Mike growing up and they will tell you Mike has a passion (understatement) for all things baseball. He was a pitcher from little league through his four years at Western New England. After graduation, Mike spent time living in South Boston and flipping houses. He started at the family agency as a temporary extra set of hands, but as he settled in, he knew he wanted to continue the success of his family’s company and its legacy. He has already started grooming his daughter Maisie to be the 5th generation, she’s eight.
Erin started in the insurance industry right out of high school in 2002. She graduated from Nichols College. She has worked for carriers such as MAPFRE/Commerce Insurance and Quincy Mutual, and now in the Independent Agency channel alongside her husband Mike. Together they own and run Richardson Insurance in Hanover, MA. They have two children, Elijah and Maisie. She and her family reside in Hanover and love their community on the south shore. Erin serves the President of the Hanover Chamber of Commerce, and is a big promoter and supporter of other local small businesses. Erin is a connector and loves being a resource who can connect people and bring them together so that we are all helping each other.
Lynne is a proud Hanoverian, Mother and Granana to her five grandkids. If Lynne could be anything when she grows up, she would be a nursery school teacher. This job aligns perfectly with her most notable qualities; her deep compassion for people, her endless empathy and admirable patience. Lynne is passionate about the needs of our clients and dependable in every aspect of her life. It lights her fire and gives her the most satisfaction to help friends and family when they need her.
When he’s not working, he finds the most joy in traveling with his family. Steve embraces challenges head-on. He takes pride in his greatest personal achievement: breaking four hours in a marathon (just barely, at 3:59:02!). His childhood dream was to play second base for the Red Sox, but as an adult, his focus has shifted to being a key contributor to a great team. His guiding motto, “If you want to be great, everything matters,” reflects his commitment to excellence in both his personal and professional life. He counts Finding Ultra by Rich Roll as his favorite book. Ultimately, what brings him the most satisfaction is sharing laughter with his family, cheering his daughters on in their performances, and attending live concerts to see his favorite bands play.
Kate is a native of Massachusetts, but she and her family are fairly recent transplants to the South Shore. During the warmer months she tries to get her toes in the sand as often as possible. When she isn’t jumping waves with her kiddos and 10 yr old Black Lab, you will find (or hear) her on the sidelines of the flag football, soccer or lacrosse fields. Kate loves to entertain family and friends with elaborate cheese boards and cocktails. From backyard movie nights to open house holiday parties, she always has something in the works. She has a full calendar and a patient husband. Kate joined Richardson Insurance with an extensive Retail Planning background, as well as valuable experience in Community Relations. Bottom line, she wants to make sure people have a good time, people are surprised and delighted and she exceeds your expectations, even when it comes to their insurance.
Michelle is proud to be a part of the Richardson Insurance family, working alongside a team that shares her commitment to the community where she grew up. With a love for organization, client connection and outreach, Michelle thrives on planning events and coordinating the smooth operation of the office. Michelle loves taking on new challenges, especially those that allow her to help others. With a firefighter husband and four children there is plenty of planning and organization that happens outside of the office as well! You'll often find Michelle enthusiastically coaching, cheering on her crew at sporting events or volunteering in their classrooms. Michelle enjoys spending any downtime outside, taking adventures and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
